Our History

New World Technologies was created in 1997 out of a desire to promote and sell new technology in the energy sector. In late 1999 New World Technology partnered with several inventers in developing a marine product that would revolutionize the coating industry. After years of development and trials it was marketed for sale with great success. NWT developed and marketed special application equipment for this product which was sold to all contractors who purchased the product. In 1995 the product was no longer available to the public and NWT decided to enter the coating and corrosion inspection industry. NWT has committed itself to researching and developing the best corrosion management and inspection practices throughout the industrial, petrochemical, offshore, pipeline, bridge, commercial and water work industries. These practices were developed to better help our clients to ensure longer lasting protection of their assets enabling them to increase return of their investment, decreasing life cycle cost and preserving the environment.

What We Do

We provide third-party inspection and corrosion management across industries like oil and gas, petrochemical, water treatment, and marine infrastructure. Our services include:

• Coating Inspections
  Monitoring ambient conditions, surface prep, application stages, and dry film thickness. Everything documented to ASTM and SSPC standards, with photo evidence and final walkthroughs.
• Steel & Coating Surveys
  Detailed on-site evaluations to assess corrosion, coating adhesion, and integrity. We analyze rust patterns, test adhesion, and deliver a full breakdown of what needs attention and why.
• Inspection Management
  Our inspectors review contractor specs, audit quality reports, and provide daily or weekly updates to keep your project on track. We also offer tech support and consult on scope changes as needed.
• Failure Analysis
  When coatings fail or corrosion gets out of hand, we find the root cause. Our team blends hands-on inspection with lab-based standards to uncover what went wrong — and how to prevent it next time.
• Welding Inspections
  From structural welds to pressure vessels, our AWS/CWI/CPWI-certified inspectors verify compliance to code. We understand the details and the big picture.
• API Inspections
  We help ensure your tanks and pressure systems meet API standards, from new construction to repairs. Every inspection includes clear documentation and recommendations for corrective action if needed.
